New DKFZ magazine issue explains how cancer trials are set up
The free German-language issue of "einblick" walks readers through the steps between a research idea and the start of a clinical trial.
On 21 October 2026, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) announced the new issue of its magazine "einblick". In the cover feature, Julia Ritzerfeld, who leads the DKFZ Clinical Trial Office, explains how research teams plan a trial and what documents regulators and ethics committees need for their review.
The issue also looks at questions that trials led by universities and research institutes can answer, such as how physical activity affects quality of life for people with cancer. The source announcement links to the free German-language PDF.
