New resource helps patients understand genomic data sharing
“Meine Genomdaten. Teilen und Helfen” explains research, privacy and questions around voluntary data sharing.
Introduced in August 2026, the information portal is for people considering whether to share their genetic data for research. It covers medical background alongside legal, ethical and practical questions.
The GHGA project developed the content with patients and relatives. A glossary and podcasts complement the information.
