What is this trial about?
The BREAK-B5 trial is investigating the sequence of an intensified immunotherapy regimen.
Detailed description
Immunotherapy has significantly improved the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer in recent years. However, patients with brain metastases generally still do not have a long life expectancy. This study investigates whether intensified immunotherapy, in combination with an antibody (bevacizumab) and chemotherapy at the start of treatment, is well tolerated and can improve patients’ prognosis.
